Jesus went to the lakeshore, stood and taught the crowd
And Levi sat collecting Caesar's tax
Jesus walked by Levi and called out clear and loud
"Follow me" and Levi never looked back

So Levi threw a party and Jesus did attend
He dined with thieves, tax collectors and wicked men
And the teachers of religion with folded arms and frowns
Said “Why does he associate with them?”

"I have not come for those who think that they are good
